The catastrophic damage to Western North Carolina caused by Hurricane Helene has provided us an opportunity to love and serve our neighbors there. Some members of Calvary Lutheran have and will be traveling to the effected region to assist in clean-up and deliver much needed relief supplies. Many people in the region are still isolated or without basic goods and services. Trinity (LCMS) in Tryon, NC was damaged significantly, and efforts are ongoing to shore up and salvage that church and assist members of that congregation. We will be taking donations to fund another relief trip, with a target goal of $500.00 for gas and travel expenses and will be collecting supplies from the list below to deliver. We welcome any contribution to the effort you can provide, in any form whatsoever, even if it is just encouragement and support. Supplies are being collected in the Narthex.
If you have questions please contact Jeff Wilburn or Cam Marshall.
